Freely inspired by astrology and symbolism, the Lux Ex Umbra Tarot is a narrative tool designed to encourage self-reflection. It draws its essence from the worlds magic, connecting to the cosmos and pays tribute to the four elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water.
This 78-card deck, rooted in the tradition of the Tarot de Marseille, was created using mixed media techniques combining digital blending and traditional painting techniques applied with a graphic tablet. Pauline, creator of the illustrations, expresses a singular artistic vision by intertwining black shamanism, astrology and symbolism. Inspired by chiaroscuro, 22 Arcanas universe is imbued with dark beauty and mystery. The shadow and light, inseparable in the deck, will reveal to you the meanings and messages of the cards.

Meet the Creator, Pauline A.
Pauline A., with a unique background, began her journey as a self-taught graphic designer in 2006. Originally from Paris, she made the decision in 2016 to leave it all behind and move to Marseille. There, everything changed. The bright light, the sea breeze, the rich culture. This vibrant and inspiring environment marked a decisive turning point in her career.
After several years in the fashion industry, followed by significant experience in the cosmetics sector as a digital consultant and art director, she decided to channel her sense of aesthetics into her own creativity. Her diverse professional experiences, shaped by eclecticism and a constant attention to detail, now fuel her artistic projects.
Driven by a deep fascination for art and symbolism, she fulfilled her desire to share her creations in 2019. She then launched her independent publishing venture, producing tarot and oracle decks under the mystiic brand. Freely inspired by Jungian thought, her decks reveal a poetic and captivating universe, offering a distinctly modern vision of divination.
